| yes in a way it means sea tortoises, i guess cant help that. i never really looked into the meaning. my dad didnt want me to follow my mom so he burned most of it when she passed, i hate him for that much =.=

Hello, I haven't been here for a while, so thought I'd re-introduce myself. I like the reset....easier to find your way around.
I would say I am Spiritual but not Religious....but definitely Pagan. I am in a bit of a transition right now...raised without much religion...my family celebrated all the mainstream Christian holidays, but never really went to church. Now I find myself looking for more. I have been studying Wicca since this past summer and I am trying to forge my own path. I am interested in the old Celtic ways, as well as Native American spirituality and look forward to learning more everyday.
Any books that you might suggest would be greatly appreciated...I am not that great at picking out books without referrals.

Hello I am new to the forum (obviously) and new into my pagan studies.
I hope to learn a lot from some of these nice people! This place seems so warm.

Greetings and Salutations!!
I am Wiccanocte, I'm an Alexandrian Wiccan, married to a Roman Catholic, (yeah, family dinners at his mother's house are LOADS of fun) and reside with him, and our three "children" Heidi, Frankie, and Freeway. No, I did not use drugs while pregnant, our "children" are the canine variety.
I've been receiving the Inner Circle Newsletter for a little over a year now, (though for some reason, I haven't gotten one in a few months) and I choose to make my path the Natural one. I have always felt a deep affinity for nature, and animals, specifically water, and the Willow tree. My hopes here are to meet more people from whom I may continue to learn, and thus grow into the person I wish to become.
