LOL  Actually the reason for it is because we've had people abuse the edit ability in the past

Yes, I know. Corvus and EBS are jerks, but that still doesn't explain why you're restricting the noobs due to mod actions.

Wasn't referring to them actually.  The one that came to mind when I posted that was a newcomer who got peeved and deleted ALL of their posts (and they had been actively posting) totally messing up several threads because of it.

In your dreams, rattlesnake :)

...Speaking of which, I had a dream my dog ate a black rattlesnake last night.

Your dog is a racist.  You should get a new one.

I know.  But you should have been.

Good thing there isn't a caste system here or anything!

If this is a recurring issue, then maybe it needs to be addressed. Just saying.

Has been.  On both sides.  More than once.  :)

Addressed until a workable resolution is found then. Or it's just going to keep coming back, like Herpes.

Yah, it does that.  Although I hope is it isn't incurable, so perhaps more like an antibiotic resistant infection?

It's one of those can't please all the people all the time problems.  The forums are privately owned and run, so we can literally do whatever the heck we please and to hell with any nay-sayers.  The thing is that what we constantly attempt to do is have an educational, relaxed, family ok, nice place to be.  Of course different people's opinions vary on what would constitute that.  In the end it comes down to the collective best judgment of the admin.  I'm hoping most of our members think we do a pretty good job.

Hey, don't knock Gloria's hair.  He worked very hard on that look, and I think it deserves some appreciation.
