In your dreams, rattlesnake ...Speaking of which, I had a dream my dog ate a black rattlesnake last night.
Re-reading Pratchets "Small Gods" so Om is currently my favourite Diety. IRL,? Pan, as the opener. Initial Panic, becomes Awe, which can become either Awful, or Awesome. So it pays to keep him sweet . Also for his disdain for Olympus and it's squabbling toddler Gods. Also Eris, as trickster supreme, causer of squabbles, and similarly, her disdain for the Olympians.
I was wondering about that.
I have been keeping tabs on this post and pondering the question it presents. After careful thought, I have come to the conclusion that I don't have a favorite deity. I have favorite people, favorite foods, favorite skivvies; but not so much a favorite Divine.I see each God or Goddess as a part of the whole. Like petals on a flower, cloves on a garlic bulb, pages in a book . . . and they all have something I can appreciate. It isn't until you see all the petals, read all the pages, eat all the garlic that you can appreciate the summation of Divine (and in the case of the garlic, why the Divine invented Tic-Tacs).I follow the Morrigan because while I don't particularly care for war, I have long familiarity with death and destruction. But She is not the only star in the sky and She understands my need to try and wrap my head around the whole picture.Everything exists. Every path is valid. In the small things can the large be measured. Pizza is sacred food; Pepsi, the sacred elixir. Thus are my learnings.
Yeah, me too. Is there any particular reason for this?
I can see n00bs being cornered by the more terrifying members of this forum and ret-conning their stupidity out of their posts in order to be spared the wrath. Of course, that leads to lying and chicanery and a general sense of disgust with the whole thing, I would think. If you can edit other people's post, I can see n00bs tinkering with spelling and grammar to make people look stupid . . . then again if you can see who made what edit when, I don't think that would be much of an issue. Hmm. Except for some people being more idiotic than others and not paying attention to that fact.

I know who Quetzalcoatl is, Snake...I thought you were trying to say I favored "Serpent Gods" over the rest.
