Just because this site has been around for, gosh, I think something around 9 years in all, and many of the members here have been following their paths for over 40 years, I'm so sure comments such as yours never came up before....so thank you!
Hmmmmm.......was I ranting on you a tad?
Problem is, when posting on a site like this, the most innocent comments can be interpreted differently depending upon the nationality, emotional state and possibly even gender (and any number of other factors) of the reader. So far, you've only had three posts, and to me, they all come across as condescending and smug. When I read your introduction the first thought that came to my mind was...your town may well be older than Christ, but your not and you may have been on your path for nearly 40 years, that doesn't mean you know dick all. But that's just the way I saw it.
Now I'm one of the nice guys here. More than willing to give a pointer when I can see one is needed. But some of the others........dude!
They'll rip yer arse off and hand it back as a hat.......(black hat at that)
And a couple of them will kill you with eloquence. They are able to turn your Cinnamon buns into cow pies and feed them to your smiling face for breakfast. And you'll just sit there thinking how grand it is until POW, your own words are servered on a platter with a side order of crow.
By all means, please share your thoughts and opinions, join in debate, but please...please....don't assume you know more than others.
