I  have been seeing these numbers whether its on the clock or just random for about 6-7 yrs now. I was wondering if anyone else has and what it could possibly mean. I have looked it up and a few things have popped up like 11 being a number of enlightenment and some story on the Huffington post about 12.21.2012 at 11:11pm. But I would like to hear others opinions please.

The people involved with "The Amityville Horror" used 3:15 A.M. because MILLIONS of people wake up at least a few times a week and notice that it is between 0310 and 0320.  You may not ACTUALLY be seeing those times any mre than any others, but you are "noticing" those times more because you've told yourself that there is a pattern to be seen.  Happens to us all, I'm afraid.

Of course, it's EASIER to see with a redundant number suca as all ones or all threes....

I get the same thing with 12:34. I see it almost every day. It started when I was 14 and my friend pointed out every time he saw 12:34. "Now you have the curse," he explained to me, "and you'll see 12:34 all the time for the rest of your life."

It totally worked.

But the thing is - I also see tons of other numbers frequently, I just don't make a note of it. If he had made me pay attention to 12:10 instead of 12:34 I'm positive I'd see it just as frequently.

Years later, I lived on route 137. I walked by a big Rt137 sign on my way to work every day and that caused me to start seeing it everywhere. My best friend's phone number contained a 137. The receipt I got at a restaurant. The number of steps between my front door and my car. I still make a note every time I see a 137. But I bet I see just as many 135s, I just don't attach any significance to it.

After a few weeks, you'll start to see 23s everywhere.

Amazing how the mind works... a little unrelated but in the same arena...

For years, whenever I told somebody my last name, Wright, they go, "Oh... is the w-r-i-g-h-t?".  In my mind I always thought, "...well, duh... what other way to spell it?"

Then I finally vocalized something I had passed on my way to work every day for years, without realizing what it was... Reydt Auto Sales...  Reydt is pronounced exactly like "Wright"!

Not sure about 11:11 or 1:11, but as a child mom told us if we see number's repeated on a clock (3:33, 4:44, 2:22), we could make a wish.

Well the reason I asked is b/c in the past I saw 4:20 all the time & on my birthday (april 20) I had the worst birthday I ever had but haven't seen that number since then & was "noticing" 11:11 before 4:20

For me, it's the number 13.  13 keeps popping up everywhere for me, as well as 31, which is the mirror image of 13.  13's my lucky number, so it doesn't really bother me, just interesting.

For example: my birthdate is 1/4/80.  Add up the numbers, you get 13.

My old cars: 1963 and 1953.  The first and last digits are 1 and 3.  13.

One of my exes whom I was really close to died at the age of 31.  13 backwards.  She also died 13 years after I met her.

The gastank in my mustang holds 13 gallons.

Was playing around with my cleromancy dominoes set one day.  Picked up a random dominoe and looked at the dots.  1 and 3.  13.

The gal I ended up marrying (and divorcing) was the 13th gal I'd ever been with.

That kind of thing.

Whoa.......I just gathered that Starry Night was wondering if it actually meant something or was it just one of those weird things.  I don't think she/he really cares if anyone thinks it's spooky or not.
