I had my daughter cremated. We put the cardboard box her ashes were in into a wooden box and buried it in my family's plot. In the twenty years that she has been gone, I imagine parts of her are in the grass, flowers and trees. All of these are releasing oxygen that I have breathed in. So she is still sort of with me. I was told back then that it was not legal to scatter the ashes anywhere you wanted.
I told my son that as long as I wasn't using my body, he can do what ever he wants with it. The key here is I must be done with it!
