Hell the Devils Domain

I was watching a show on TV this morning about different religions and their beliefs about heaven
and hell. Every religion was covered, except pagan religions including Wicca. I was very surprised
that we were left out. Prehaps because hell is not a consideration for us, I don't know.

What do you think?

Well I wouldn't think they would include any religion that doesn't have a heaven or hell in their teachings.  Are you sure they just didn't say we were all going to hell?   ;D

Not us they named Christians, (all christian's icluding Catholics) Islam does'nt think hell is
permanate, neither do Hindus's. Judism no hell

If I'm wrong I'm sure I'll be corrected, but that's ok.

This is a seiries that was made for the History Channel. There are copies of the shows on YouTube but I think some of them may be tagged with malware as I was getting a security alert.
It's possible that one of the other clips available deals with witchcraft but there look like an attempt to prove the existance of Jesus more than anything.

Well, the paintings of Jesus surrounded by little children and the goings on of the Catholic priests and the sex scandals does sort of go hand in hand so to speak.

That's REALLY disturbing!!! I've never actually put much thought into those songs. I always took the "Jesus loves the little children" as an interpretation that everyone was equal. Once again, the Goddess was speaking to me in ways I never realized.

I know I'm going to have to justify THAT.....I still hold (as an adult) that we are all equal and HATE the whole "White People rule" or "Black Power" and all of that bs of which race is the best and blah, blah, blah. As I grew up, there were signs (okay they were huge, neon, music-playing signs) that I was walking the wrong path.....I just couldn't see them. That's why I wear contacts now.....lol

I have no problem believing that Jesus was a real man who was highly regarded in his time. So highly regarded that a book was written about him by many different people. He pissed off the
wrong people and they executed him, making him a martyr. I have great respect for the religion
they created.It's the churches that ruin the religion.

I agree with Marisol.  The churches do ruin the religion.  That's why I have trouble going to church, even though I'm a Christian.  I find they get too wrapped up in the "traditions" and organizational crap, and they lose the meaning of the entire religion.

BTW, the song goes:

I sang this a million times as a child. (never particularly liked it) I don't it's fair to put a nasty spin on the song, though.  Not all Christians are Catholic and everyone I know detests how those priests acted and the cover-up that ensued.  Hell, even the Catholics I know are disgusted by the whole mess and think anyone involved should be removed from their position and put in prison.

Every religion has it's dark side and idiot people who give it a bad name.

As to the words to the song....what ever. Picky picky. You sang it that way, I sand it my way, does it really matter?
