My grandfather was a mason.. Look at the word freemason, they were free men as in not slaves.
They were masons and in high demand for the building of castles and other stone buildings. This
was not something known by everyone. Thus called Freemasons and being organized formed a
union of sorts that developed into a secret organization something like a coven. They were not
satanists. They left secret markings on all of the building they built. If you look they are all over
American buildings.

Thanks marisol. I've never heard them called satanists before. I did think pagan perhaps. I have nothing against secret societies, I just wanna know the secret. Lol.

Don't know about how the regular people where you live look upon them but here Drac a lot of church's name them as satan worshippers.  Most people here know them for the charity works . Mostly it is for hospital care for children and food and housing for low income families. The local one has a food delievery service for the elderly .

Their symbols are on our money too Marisol. It is said that 9 of the founding fathers were Freemasons and 11 more had some affiliation with the Masons.

If I could find two to recommend me I probably would. I hate not knowing secrets. I'm good at keeping them though.
