Hey guys! Long time no talk. :)

I was curious if any of you knew of good books for information about candle magic specifically.

Scott Cunningham wrote one called  Earth Magic that has a chapter on candle magic.  I have not read it but his work is usually pretty good for beginners.

I would recommend "Exploring Candle Magic".

I highly recommend Ray Buckland's books on candle magic if you can find them.  Especially his first one.  His spells are very intricate compared to Cunningham's, but you'll finish the book very knowledgeable indeed. I'm not knocking Scott Cunningham's book, esp for beginners, but Buckland will give you more info on magical principles.

I realize this is a necro thread, but thought I'd put in my 2 cents.

Someone already noted Buckland's Practical Candle Burning (aka Practical Candleburning Rituals). Incidentally, he based much of his book on the older Master Book of Candle Burning by Henri Gamache (http://www.luckymojo.com/candlemagic.html#history). The rituals are practically identical, with the addition of Pagan versions.

Charmaine Dey's The Magic Candle is also excellent, and good adjunct material. (Dey was a friend of the late British witch and author Sybil Leek.)

I also love Michael Howard's Candle Burning: Its Occult Significance book (and it was expanded and retooled a few times).
