Some musings on the chalice..
« on: May 16, 2018, 08:26:26 PM »

Most of us know that the chalice represents the womb of the Goddess in Wiccan ritual.  But does the liquid in the chalice carry symbolism?  I've heard some ideas on this topic lately but I'm curious if any of you have any thoughts about this.  Does the liquid mean something, too?  Is there a reason wine is usually the libation of choice?

Any thoughts?

Depends on the tradition you follow , no so sure about the wine but know of some that use wate4r mixed with their blood and given to the Earth before their ritual is over . Have heard that it was supposed to be the blood of the Goddess and was to be shared with those of ones circle or oneself . Hey your the Witch what do you do with it ?.
