Totally obscured right now.  I wish I had a camera other than my cell phone.  It's beautiful....

Looks red here.

It's raining and pitch dark out.  No moon, not even a moon shadow through the clouds.

I got to watch the blurry white spot behind the clouds get smaller, but that is about it. I guess I'll just have to wait for the pictures tomorrow from those who could see it.

Happy Solstice, anyways!

Too cloudy.  I was hoping to at least watch the change in the light, but the clouds are too thick...

I have done a little more research and it is apparent that tons of people take this event to be important and have planned extra special festivities! I wish I had known about all this earlier, I pretty much found out today (er... Yesterday) but anyhow, I'm going to go do some witching ;)

Nothing but clouds for me.  :'(  All I could see was a slight reddish hue to the clouds where the moon should have been. Such is life, I supppose. I hope there are some good photos from somewhere.

Clouded over here shortly before midnight.  Checked weather radar, didn't look like it was going to clear anytime soon, so I just went to bed.

I was looking forward to that, too.

At least I've still got the drumming circle tonight.

Sorry to hear you guys couldn't see it. I had a perfect cloudless view. I was worried earlier in the night when I saw a few clouds building but I guess they went to H's house....LOL!!

I have always loved clouds but last night was the moment I hated them the MOST!!!!!!
Just when the moon was being eclipsed by the earth's shade..those damn clouds.
I managed to watch it every now and then because of some gaps in the clouds, just before the moon got eclipsed completely, damn the deep and brilliant reddddd.
I went to bed at 3:00 am, by then the sky was perfectly cloudless and the moon had some pink-orange color!.

I was so upset. It seemed that as soon as it got close to the time of the eclipse, it got cloudy :(. I did not get to see anything.
