Hi, everyone. Returning newbie here. I first logged onto these fora about 5 years ago and I can't remember whether I posted an introduction back then or not, so I thought I'd do it now.

I first came to Wicca back in 2001, when I was struggling with ideas of faith and searching for meaning in life. There was a pagan society at university and I found Wicca through that, as well as via conversations online. It felt like a calling; and I've been reading up on it from a number of books and websites since then. Cunningham was my first, then Buckland, the Farrars, and Valiente. While I've not agreed with everything in them, most has struck true.

I've been reading a lot of what's written on here (as I said, I've been here a while without posting) and you guys seem like a pretty nice bunch. I'm happy to have met you, and I look forward to getting to know you all better.

Blessed Be.

Welcome, Kimara.  Nice to have you here.  Nice selection of starter books, it would be great if you start a thread discussing which parts didn't hit home for you.

Thanks for the nice welcome, Ashe. I will dig them out and have a quick re-read of them to do that.:)

Welcome to TCC Kim. I guess since you've been here for as long as you have there's really no point in bleating on about how to use the site etc.  :-p

It only remains then to simply say, enjoy your time with us and may you find all you seek ;) ;D

Haha! What can I say? I just love that character; she's a real oddball but with a kind heart. :)
