Personally I'm looking forward to a snow free winter, but that is just wishful thinking. As little as possible would be nice.

You should try Houston, I can't remember the last time we had enough snow to actually stick. We get flurries every few years.  ;D

Sounds great to me C2, as much as I'd love to visit Texas, I've always had a fancy for a summer Christmas. Australia would be the place for that...... Turkey on the Barbie kind of appeals to my sense of humour....LoL

I have online friends in Australia, it seems really fun but odd to hear them talk about sweating at Christmas time! :D We had a number of discussions on the celebration of the Sabbats in the southern hemisphere. The general consensus was that since the seasons were reversed, the quarters, namely the solstices and equinoxes should be celebrated reversed at well, to coincide with the turns of the year. So rather than celebrating Yule, they would be celebrating Litha, although the Christian holidays, being dependent only on the date rather than the season, would not change. There was further debate on cross-quarters such as Beltane, etc. That one was heavily debated and I don't think there were any conclusions on that one.

When I see ones I like (like this one, I love it!) I right click and "save image as." I usually rename the image, the names they are assigned are kind of weird. I have a collection of fairly random images, the only thing they have in common is that I like them. ;D I have a set of copies of the Rede in some lovely images. Thank you for sharing this one!  :D

As for Texas Drac, just run as far as you can away from here. Houston summers will KILL you if you're not used to them.

If you want to train, you could just run a really hot shower and try to breathe the actual water. That's pretty close xD
