In this modern age, we can communicate with most of our friends and family instantly. We relay messages by phone, text or Internet posts and in most cases, a response is immediate. Easy, fast and clear communication is what we expect today, no matter what part of the world we are trying to connect with. The Goddess is not a world away from us. Most agree that the Divine is WITHIN us and can be found in everything around us as well. So why then, do so many feel disconnected from a force that resides within them?
When life gets challenging and we face financial, health or relationship problems, it can feel like the Divine has abandoned us. We often think that the Goddess is just not listening to us, but in reality, we are usually the one not listening. In most cases, simply repairing or clearing our communication lines to the Divine makes all the difference!
We all understand that packing a cell phone around with us does not guarantee that our family and friends can always reach us. Our battery must be charged and we need to have our phone turned on. Likewise, we would not expect to get an email from anyone if we had no established Internet connection. If you want the Goddess to be able to talk to you, you’ll need to make sure you provide her with clear working lines of communication.
That’s where the elements come in. Communing with Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit can open your lines of communication and strengthen your connection with the Divine! Knowing how to talk to the Goddess and her elemental “messengers” can make a huge difference in your relationship with her.
